New Village People Sued By Original Policeman

The original policeman in The Village People, Victor Willis, has launched a lawsuit attempting to prevent a new incarnation of the group from using his likeness and voice. Willis, who co-wrote the group's biggest hits, says that his voice and pictures of him are still being used to promote the band. He's seeking at least $1million in damages plus a judge's order to say the current Village People set up can no longer use his image or voice.
