Wavves UK Tour Annouced

WAVVES is 22 year old San Diego, California resident Nathan Williams. Having already released a few 7s, DIY tapes and an LP, WAVVES debut UK release will be the slacker beach punk anthem 'So Bored' on Young Turks.

Taking influence from the sunshine pop of the Beach Boys via the teenage suburban punk of the Descendents and The Wipers, the louche lo-fi of Beat Happening.

WAVVES has caused quite a stir in the US underground, picking up fans in Pitchfork (Beach Boys re-imagined by a supergroup of No Age, Black Lips, and Times New Viking) and Gorilla Vs Bear (noisy, fuzzy, endlessly hummable melodies).

'So Bored', a paean to hanging around southern California with nothing to do, will be backed by the acoustic lo-fi lushness of 'How Are You'.

WAVVES will be over in the UK to play some shows from the end of February, dates below:
