Animal rights group PETA have called on Kid Rock to grow up and stop wearing fur, after the musician claimed in a recent interview to have “every kind of animal” in his wardrobe.
Rock, who, as previously reported, was divorced from PETA supporter Pamela Anderson two years ago, said that he would be happy to “go to war” with the group. He added, in reference to the past actions of animal rights activists who threw red paint on fur-wearers, “To throw paint on someone is just wrong. They do it to little Hollywood actresses who can't defend themselves”.
Anyway, PETA told Gigwise: “Hell hath no fury like a man scorned. Though his relationship with PETA pal Pam Anderson ended years ago, Kid Rock is clearly still wearing his heart on his fur sleeve. Maybe one day this kid will grow up and grow out of his cruel wardrobe”.
