Ladyhawke returns with new single “My Delirium” released yesterday, Monday 8TH December 2008. The track is taken from her eponymous debut album which was released at the end of September. The single follows the summer releases “Paris Is Burning” and “Dusk Till Dawn”. As with previous singles, “My Delirium” comes with some great remixes, this time from the likes of JBAG, Sunship, Sugardaddy, Toddla T & Ross Orton, Chateau Marmont, and new friends Fan Death.

Ladyhawke aka Pip Brown grew up in New Zealand with her very musical family and is heavily influenced by the stars of her 80's childhood. She adores the likes of Stevie Nicks, Deep Purple and David Bowie but is certainly not a nostalgic songwriter. Her album has received great critical appreciation with many reviewers claiming it to be one of the albums of the year.
Brown started out by playing drums in her school band, and ended up playing four different instruments on her debut album. Following a move to Sydney a few years ago, Brown then moved to London in 2007 where she wrote and recorded the album.
Ladyhawke has had a busy year touring the globe and even playing three shows in one day at this summers' Glastonbury Festival. She completed her first UK headline in September/October which included a sold out show at London's Scala, and is set for a UK tour with Black Kids at the end of this month.
