Cage the Elephant are the latest American rock band to appear on our shores with a reputation for incendiary live performances, music that is aggressive and raw and for behaviour that is, quite frankly, unpredictable.

If you like an act that's raucous and high energy (and who doesn't?) then Cage The Elephant will be right up your street. Currently on a tour of the UK of which half the dates are already sold out, it is clear that fans know they are in for a treat with the live shows.

However, as is so often the way, if you haven't got your ticket for the London show yet, you've missed your chance. But all is not lost. Glasswerk have snapped up the opportunity to host a DJ set by the band at their unofficial aftershow party at Cross Kings on Tuesday 18th November. With lead singer Matt Shultz freely admitting that he's “always been an attention slut,” it is certain to be as excitable and unpredictable as the live shows.

There will also be some excellent bands beforehand, including Cage The Elephants own support act AutoVaughn; a four-piece rock collective from Nashville Tenesse that is set on making the world listen to them.

It is certainly set be a frenzied night of high-energy rock 'n' roll.

Whether you're going to the gig beforehand (you lucky devils) or not, don't miss the aftershow, it will definately be a night to remember.
After all, Elephants never forget…
