P!nk scored her first ever UK No.1 album yesterday when “Funhouse” debuted in the top slot, after selling over 112,000 copies in its first week. Remarkably, despite having sold 4 million albums in the UK, P!nk’s previous best chart position was No.2 for “Missundazstood” in 2002. The incredible success of “Funhouse” mirrors that of P!nk’s latest single “So What”, which spent 3 weeks at No.1 in the UK and is No.3 this week. “So What” also gave P!nk her first ever US No.1 single.
P!nk’s UK fans will be able to catch her live in Glasgow, Aberdeen, Birmingham, Manchester, Liverpool, Newcastle and London when the Funhouse Tour reaches the UK in April and May 2009.
Tickets for the concerts go on sale tomorrow, Tuesday 4th November at 9am.
