Bjork leads the pack at UK Music Video Awards

Bjork has won a trio of awards at The UK Music Video Awards, including Video of the Year.

The awards, held last night at London's Odeon West End, honoured many other artists including Kate Nash and Last Shadow Puppets but Bjork reigned supreme, also collecting Best Art Direction and Best Indie/ Alternative video. All three awards were won for 'Wanderlust,' directed by Encyclopedia Pictura, art direction from Isaiah Saxon.

Nima Nourizadeh, who has directed videos for Hot Chip, Santogold, CSS and Flight Of The Conchords over the past 12 months, picked up the Best Director Award. Leona Lewis won the Capital FM Peoples Choice award for 'Bleeding Love.'

MVA editorial director David Knight says, “The first UK Music Video Awards has shown that the tradition of creativity, art and craft in British music videos keeps producing remarkable talent and remarkable work, even in very testing times.”
