The band were propelled into the national psyche after being played by Colin Murray on Radio 1. Sell out gigs soon followed and a clamor for the band to release the now legendary ‘He’s Turned Emo’ was satisfied in the summer of 2007, further coverage followed in The Guardian, plus further Radio 1 support from Rob Da Bank and Rory McConnell as well as BBC 6 play from Steve Lamacq. The bands status in their native North West was confirmed when Granada TV requested an exclusive interview with the band.
