Following their impressive return to the UK music scene with the critically adulated fourth studio album, ‘The Seldom Seen Kid’, Elbow have announced details of their 2nd UK tour of 2008 – the biggest of the bands career.
At first its glaringly obvious (well, to me) that their is no dates mentioned north of the border however Elbows Scottish contingent need not fret as they will be indeed appearing at this years Hydro Connect Festival in (arf!) Inverary.
The dates are:

Tuesday 7th October – Portsmouth, Guildhall
Wednesday 8th October – Truro, Hall For Cornwall
Friday 10th October – Cardiff, University Great Hall
Saturday 11th October – London, Roundhouse
Sunday 12th October – London, Roundhouse
Wednesday 15th October – Wolverhampton, Civic Hall
Thursday 16th October – Leicester, De Montfort Hall
Saturday 18th October – Leeds, Academy
Monday 20th October – Gateshead, Sage
Wednesday 22nd October – Liverpool, University
Thursday 23rd October – Manchester, Apollo
The band will also be wowing fans at Glastonbury, Latitude, Electric Picnic… and ofcourse, *phew* Connect.
