To mark Sub Pop’s 20th Anniversary, two of the label’s veterans Greg Dulli (Afghan Whigs, Twilight Singers) and Mark Lanegan (Screaming Trees, QOTSA, Soulsavers) have joined forces as The Gutter Twins for their debut collaborative album, 'Saturnalia', released March 3rd 2008.
With Pitchfork describing them as “two of alt-rock's greatest frontmen”, The Gutter Twins bring an album of immense proportions in 'Saturnalia'; mystical, unpredictable, masterful, and very dark songs about mortality, penance and salvation.
Pre-release, the Gutter Twins embark on a one-city-stop tour taking in shows in New York, Paris, London, Amsterdam and San Francisco. The London show, at Camden's KOKO on Feb 21st, is part of the NME Awards shows. They return for a full UK tour in April.
