SWN FESTIVAL COMING TO CARDIFF!!

The first acts for the Swn festival have finally appeared courtesy of Plugtwo Promotions. The festival will take place in Cardiff from the 9th of Noveber to the 11th, taking over several live venues with a wild array of exciting bands. The big names already released are the likes of Leeds scenesters The Cribs, Beirut, David Holmes and Two Gallants. These will be ably supported by such Welsh talent as Genod Droog, Texas Radio Band, Cate Le Bon and Mr Huw brining together both the North and the South in one huge extravaganza of music. The man putting things together for Swn, Radio1 DJ Huw Stephens had this to say “November in Cardiff will be injected with a shot of excitement,” continues Huw, “thanks to a brilliant bill of bands, diverse DJs, folk, art exhibitions and films, specially curated nights put on by well respected labels, more quality nights by local promoters who continually put on gigs all year round, and a lot of special surprises.
