Amy Winehouse has received four nominations for this years MOBO awards. She will compete for Best R&B Act, Best Video and Best Song whilst, in the category of Best UK Female, she will have some stiff competition from big names such as Joss Stone, Corinne Bailey Rae and Jamelia. However, the gritty chanteuse, who is also nominated for the Mercury Prize, has seen her health be at the centre of much speculation after she cancelled a handful of US dates.
Amongst the other nominations are Dizzee Rascal, who is up against Sway and Lethal Bizzle for Best UK Male and Mutya Buena who is nominated for Best Newcomer. The ceremony will take place on the 19th of September, with edited highlights on BBC One on the 21st September.
