SEBON HAS NEW MANAGEMENT

Sebon.co.uk was the original online shop for popular music made in
Wales. Rumours recently began to emerge though that after 3 years of
trading the site would unfortunately be wound down, so that its founders
could concentrate on running their record label, Peski. For many people
this was terrible news, as Sebon – with customers based in Wales,
internationally, and even in England – was one of the only ways to get
their hands on Welsh music.

No one wanted to see Sebon gone, and so a plan was hatched. John Rostronand Carl Morris (both of Cardiff-based record label My Kung Fu) teamedup with Guto Brychan (an A&R man for the Gwymon and Copa labels, as wellas programmer for the Maes B events), and offered to take over the website.

When asked about the appeal of Sebon, My Kung Fu's John Rostron answered”Sebon is a fantastic resource for people to discover new Welsh music.Whether it's an internationally known band like Super Furry Animals on a huge label like Rough Trade, or an independently, self-released album
from a great singer such as Gwyneth Glyn, it's all available on
Sebon.co.uk.”

The site is now back up and running, and open for business. Currently
available to browse are a plethora of CDs and an assortment of vinyl for
you to get your paws on.
