Franz Ferdinand have announced a number of Scottish shows in September. The band played a brace of low-key shows at Glasgow’s Grand Ole Opry in June of this year.
The low-key tour, on which they will play a number of new songs alongside old favourites, calls in at a number of Scottish towns previously un-visited by the band.
The band are currently writing their third album in Glasgow which is due for release in the early part of 2008.

Tickets will be going on sale on Saturday 28th July 2007 at 9am and will be limited to 4 per person except Shetland which is limited to 2 per person.
