Downlod 2007 Tickets on Sale

With just under 4 weeks remaining until Download 2007 finally arrives, individual day tickets went on sale earlier today. These tickets are strictly limited and priced at £60 each, demand for these is sure to exceed availability.

Festival organisers have also announced that the final batch of camping tickets go on sale at 9.00am on Monday 14th May. Only available to weekend tickets holders, these have been selling at a phenomenal rate and weekend tickets holders are recommended to act swiftly if they have not already done so. Other facilities on offer at Download 2007 are security lockers, with safety the festival organisers number one priority, these are available to all festival goers for £6.

Parking at this years festival is £6 in advance or £10 on the day. Festival organisers are encouraging festival goers to car pool and use public transport to cut fuel admissions as much as possible. link includes a car pooling section as well as detailed information about public transport links.

Based over the weekend of 8,9,10 June, Friday night headliners My Chemical Romance are joined on the main stage by Velvet Revolver and Wolfmother, while Korn headline the Dimebag Darrell Stage. Saturday sees headliners Linkin Park take to the stage, along with Marilyn Manson, whilst Mötley Crüe close the Dimabag Darrell Stage. Iron Maiden close the festival on the Sunday night, they are joined by Evanescence and Killswitch Engage to name but a few. The full lineup for this years festival follows overleaf.

This year’s performance of Iron Maiden will be in acknowledgement of the 25th anniversary release of their seminal album “The Number of the Beast”, and the tremendous international success of their recent album “A Matter of Life and Death”. Iron Maiden’s forthcoming June dates in Europe will go under the banner of 'A Matter Of The Beast Summer Tour 2007’. The band will be playing five songs from each of these albums, plus other fan favorites and will be taking out a full on stage production which will include the final appearances of Eddie's notorious tank! !
