White Stripes : No Label

The White Stripes have been dropped by their record label! Well kind of, because V2 has announced that it will no longer release original music and will instead concentrate on its back catalogue, meaning that current V2 artists will need to look for a new company to release their future albums.

The White Stripes, The Raconteurs, Moby, Paul Weller, Mercury Rev and The Crystal Method are all homeless as of this morning and effectively no longer have record deals. Doubt it’ll take too long for Jack and Meg to pick themselves up off the streets to find a new label though somehow.
