Glasswerk/TBA presents: the Best of In The City

Well, the dust has settled on In The City for another year but before we start working on ITC 2007 in Manchester, In The City Of New York in June 07 and In The City AAA in Perth's sunny November climes, there's one last job to take care of: The now-traditional Best Of In The City showcases in London Town.

Following on from last year's sell-out gigs, the best bands from ITC Unsigned, ITC Urban and Break ITC are coming together with a series of nights to show the people of our nation's capital what they missed in our nation's music capital – and see off a great year al round for the World's premier new music event.

The Francos 1.15am

Formed in Bristol in 2004, The Francos have quickly gone about building a strong & loyal fanbase. A huge run of gigs in 2005, including the sun-soaked Ashton Court festival, marked their arrival to the South West. The sound is frenzied, sparkling guitar-pop with an inescapable bop-along vibe. Cracking tunes stuffed with hook-laden riffs and sing-along choruses ensure everyone goes home whistling and humming… The Francos now have a string of national dates in the pipeline for this summer, as they hope to spread their songs far-and-wide.
