Last year saw the birth if a new music festival in South Wales given to celebrating Welsh music from hip-hop to metal. The Full Ponty kicked off in style last year with the likes of Feeder, GLC and Funeral For a Frined heading the bill in impressive style.
In preperation for next year the organiseres have already announced their first headlining act. This year, South Wales metal gods The Lostprophets willl host their homecoming by headlining the Saturday night (26th May 2007), capping off an amazing 12 months for the boys, having already announced a massive arena tour for next year. Other headliners will be announced shortly as well as loads more bands who will be taking their place under the festival's 11,000-capacity main stage marquee, near Pontypridd in South Wales.
The event will also have a supporting fringe programme of world music artists, unplugged sessions, street entertainers and alternative comedians hosted by several venues across the town, as well as an aftershow party in town. For further details click here link
