Damon Albarn stops monkeying around for now

Awol Blurist Damon Albarn has put aside current projects with producer Danger Mouse to put together a new ramshambles group of ex band members.

The new supergroup go by the name The Good The Bad And The Queen, and are working on a concept album based on thoughts of London.

The line up consists of former Clash bassist Paul Simonon, Verve axe man and part time Blur man Simon Tong, along with drummer Tony Allen.

They are set to get their first single out in October this year.
