Arctic Monkeys Bass Player Quits

The Arctic Monkeys bass player, Andy Nicholson, has quit the band due to exhaustion, with no intention of rejoining one of the fastest growing success stories of the year.

The band announced the news to fans on their website: “We are sad to tell everyone that Andy is no longer with the band… We have been mates for a long time and have been through some amazing things together that no-one can take away.” Nicholson, who last month pulled out of their North American tour due to fatigue, will be replaced by Nick O'Malley for the rest of the summer.
