The Lemonheads confirmed for Somerset House event

Boston college-rock survivors The Lemonheads are the latest band to be announced for this summer's series of concerts at London's Somerset House, following a run-through of the band's 1992 countrified indie classic It's a Shame About Ray at last year's Don't Look Back concerts. Evan Dando and co will play the event on the 16th July, bringing ten days of eclectic feelgood music to a climax. Opening proceedings on July 6 will be Ireland's Divine Comedy, while other acts already confirmed include Jose Gonzalez (July 7), Robert Plant and The Strange Sensation (July 10), Elbow (July 13) and Erykah Badu, who will play two consecutive nights (July 14/15), while more acts are still to be confirmed.
