This exciting new compilation covers the best Manchester and Liverpool punk, new wave and post-punk music.
Taken from 1976 -1984 and compiled by Paul Morley it is a mix of seminal bands like 'The Buzzcocks', 'The Fall', and 'Teardrop Explodes'.
It includes cult names such as 'Ludus' and 'A Certain Ratio' plus many other fresh faced bands of the time like 'The Smiths', 'New Order', 'Echo and The Bunnymen' and 'Frankie Goes To Hollywood', who were undoubtedly destined for mainstream success.
There is also a limited edition album, which comes with a bonus CD featuring rarities and even some previously unreleased material.
