Described by Q magazine as “one of lo-fi's unsung heros” Ill Ease will be playing playing a number of Glasswerk shows as part of her UK tour.
Hailing from Brooklyn, New York, Ill Ease is the one woman band of multi instrumentalist Elizabeth Sharp. After playing drums in New Radiant Storm King for 5 years. In 1998 Sharp decided to go it alone recording three albums of for the Smilex label which brought her to the attention of Too Pure/Beggars Group. Her first UK album release “The Exorcist” came out in 2004 and the self-issued “The After After Party Party” EP followed in 2005. A new EP entitled “Miami and The Siege of Chicago” is due this summer and features some of Sharp’s sickest grooves to date.
