Babyshambles to anchor in Liverpool
With cut throat antics and shambles galore Pete and co are landing in Liverpool on Sat 21/01/06 at the Liverpool Carling Academy. The Babyshambles album had received reviews for all the wrong reasons with Pete popping in the papers everyday. The refreshing excitement that surrounded the Libertines in 2001 was a sheer joy and Babyshambles seem to still hold their own despite bad press (due to Pete). Down in Albion is an exciting album which bursts into greatness with in your face efforts such as ‘A rebours’, 'Sticks and Stones' and ‘F*ck Forever’
A Saturday night in Liverpool with Babyshambles, mmm surely its going to be a riot! Either despise or hate Mr Doherty he led the way for a new generation of Sex Pistols pioneering tunes. Pete is due in court next month after pleading guilty to possession of heroin and cocaine.
However it will be a celebration of genius tunes to get your socks off to, you may also find your self celebrating the good old days with the likes of ’Don’t Look Back into the Sun’ on show.
