Glasswerk are proud to announce their first ever showcase events in Glasgow with two dates in January. The recently refurbished Nice ‘n’ Sleazy on Sauchiehall Street will host some of the finest talent the city has to offer.
On Thursday 19th January, Tempercalm, Cobra Grande, Hip Parade (formerly Myopia) and Jimmy Jive are the special guests playing at Glasswerk’s first ever Glasgow showcase. So come along and join us for a night of fine multi-flavoured Rock music – oh no, it doesn’t just come in one flavour! Jimmy Jive provide an appetising Rock starter, whilst Hip Parade offer a healthy dollop of Rock n Roll at it’s best, then, to spice things up, Cobra Grande add a soupcon of electro/indie rock to the dish, finally for something to get your teeth into… Tempercalm deliver a meaty serving of grunge influenced rock – best served RAW!
Saturday 28th January sees four of the best Indie bands in Glasgow make an appearance in our Indie Showcase event, namely The Prayers, Starstudded78, The Front and Montra. From the anthemic overtures of Montra to the bouncy Indie-Pop tunes of Starstudded78, with foot stomping songs and classic Indie sounds from The Front and The Prayers – this line-up will NOT disappoint!
Four great bands on each night for a mere £4… bargain! Talk about a January Sale!
We operate a 'Pay on the Door' policy at our showcase events so please arrive early to avoid disappointment – as they both promise to be sell out nights!
Doors 8pm for both events. Over 18 only.
