Echo and The Bunnymen Preview

Perhaps one of the most important British Bands in our history with comforting gems like ‘Nothing Ever Last Forever’ and ‘Killing Moon’. However the shows at the Liverpool Carling Academy are sure to be sell outs with a homecoming salute to be enjoyed by all.

This time around though the Bunnymen come back to give their new album ‘Siberia’ an outing. The album takes on a more crisp and refreshingly new sound than the last album. ‘Stormy Weather’ is an elegant and soulful melody that is sure to be a crowd pleaser. ‘Everything Kills You’ and ‘Make Us Blind’ are highlights. The album was recorded at the legendary Parr Street Studios.

It’s a fantastic mark that the Bunnymen have now produced 9 albums and the shows at the Carling Academy will be nights not to be missed. Pure celebration and thanks to the Bunnymen, expect a few classics in there too!
