Misty’s Big Adventure return on their never ending sojourning adventure around the British Isles to a northern city near you, with two dates in Leeds and Liverpool on the 13th and 14th of December respectively. Bringing power rock ballads and ballsy guitar…. ha. I am joking of course. It is weird spunky indie with twisted humour and lightly sprinkled with a dusting of irony. Bop de la pop two tone psychedlia and a highly amusing dancer who sweats his own weight in a blue and red giant condom. Orchestration and pop-servation; The Grandmaster has arrived.
Following sell out tour supports with The Zutons and more recently with Magic Numbers, Mistys own headline tours are fast becoming a must see for the sheer joy and entertainment they bring. Grinning faces and fans that sing louder than the band are still around even as the audience moves from intimate shows to throngs of masses. And why not? Their take on pop while incorporating Dixieland jazz themes are not lost on the average listener – it’s hard not to love this lot.
‘Grinningly good’ someone once said…..
