With the new album “Kingwood” – released March 29 2005, once again the band has reinvented themselves with a sound that stays true both in style and spirit to Millencolin. The album was recorded in Örebro (Fascination Street Studio) and Gothenburg (Music-A-Matic) with producer Chips Kiesbye (The Hellacopters, Sahara Hotnights among others). THE UNSEEN (USA):
In this day and age of watered down principles, meaningless musical tags, and empty messages, it's refreshing to find a band who still knows who they are and what they stand for. The Unseen is one of those exceptions that you can call Punk Rock, the real deal, without raising any questions or doubts.
After their 2003 release “Explode” (BYO), The Unseen signed to the Hellcat family to release their latest “State Of Discontent” this May 2005. Produced by (Dropkick Murphy's) Ken Casey and mixed by Brett Gurewitz, “State Of Discontent” sounds incredibly powerful and is the more relevant today in the current music climate that churns out anti establishment cliches devoid of any true meaning.
The Unseen have cut their teeth as a live band with countless US, European and Japanese tours with heavyweights like Sick Of It All, AFI, Agnostic Front or Dropkick Murphys as well as their own headlining gigs. The Unseen will be doing most of the Warped Tour this summer before hitting Europe in the Fall.
