JackieO release their debut album 'Between Worlds of Whores and Gods' on the 3rd or october.
Manchester four – piece, JACKIEO are set to release their long awaited debut album on Skinny Dog Records, the label set up by Elbow's Guy Garvey and I Am Kloot's Peter Jobson, on the 3rd of October.
'Between Worlds of Whores and God' features eleven tracks of pure rock 'n' roll recorded over the last few months with producer Steve Lloyd (Doves / Elbow) in Manchester. They manage to effortlessly combine their love of trashy punk and blues with catchy pop tunes to great effect and they've rightly been hailed as one of the best prospects to emerge from Manchester for a long time.
JACKIEO, who feature Jackson (Electric Guitar/vocals), Jo-Jo (Fuzz Bass
Vibrations,) Sister Ruth (Drums) and No Hero (Guitar/Slide), have been on a quest for the source of true rock 'n' roll enlightenment. for the last couple of years and have built up a devoted following around the country for their explosive live shows. They released their debut single and Kerrang ! 'single of the week just over a year ago and have since toured with the likes of Liars, Eighties Matchbox B-Line Disaster, Martini Henry Rifles, The Dirtbombs and The White Stripes.
JACKIEO play the following dates and are set to announce a UK Tour to coincide with the album release in the very near future.
