Carling Weekend Headliners Announced

Unconfirmed reports in a popular web zine have touted that this years Carling headliners at Reading and Leeds will be the Foo Fighters, The Pixies and Iron Maiden.

The Foo Fighters come as no surprise as they finish up recording their forthcoming double album, but nme.com reports that a festival source gossiped,

“They’ve bagged Pixies' only UK shows next year, and there’s a chance they could be their last ever in Britain. It’s an open secret that Foo Fighters are playing as well.”

It is also rumoured that Iron Maiden will make a return to the weekend, after more than twenty years, as part of their mamoth European Tour.

Official announcements will likely be made inMarch when the tickets go on sale.
