The universally acclaimed debutant Nels Andrews has joined Lucinda Williams, Steve Earle and Lyle Lovett in being crowned the 'NewFolk' best songwriter at the Kerriville Folk Festival, and Andrews seems set to follow them into the public's consciousness if the buzz around 'Sunday Shoes', his first release, is any gauge.
