Then on Sunday we have THE BARBS & THE ROCKS @ Twelve Festival, June 6th, Jabez Clegg.
This month's Twelve Fest features 2 of London's hotly tipped acts as they make rare appearances north of Watford. Well worth checking out coz next time it wont be £2 in !!
THE ROCKS : London garage rockers The Rocks dare to mention Sinatra, The Misfits and 'Miss You' by Rolling Stones influences. It is sleazy, glamourous post-punk rock, a sort of Vibrators meets Magazine. (Scratchy Records, www.therocks.org.uk)
THE BARBS : The Barbs, fronted by gorgeous Australian Amy, have established themselves as ones to watch, and a thrilling live band, in the great tradition of the Pixies and the Blues Explosion. (Mother Tongue, www.thebarbs.co.uk)
£3 before 5pm, £4 after. Vman discount : email me to be added to the “£2 before 5pm guestlist”
