“In front of a sell-out crowd.stellastarr* twitch and jerk their way through a near-perfect set and show why they deserve every hyperbolic adjective currently being thrown their way” NME
Stellastarr* support Jane's Addiction
As the band release their debut eponymous album (“This assured, intense record heralds the emergence of a major force” Q), stellastarr* confirm their position as support on the forthcoming UK Jane's Addiction tour. The band will follow these shows with their largest headline tour to date.
The band, currently on the road supporting the Raveonettes on their US tour, wowed crowds at Reading and Leeds festival this year. Their early afternoon performances on the Radio 1 stage were busy affairs which saw chaotic scenes when the band played recent single 'Jenny' (NME Single Of The Week) and debut release 'Somewhere Across Forever'.
The album has already been heralded as “a brilliant, fiendish monolith of a debut” Rocksound, “impossible to resist” Time Out, “startlingly brilliant.they deserve to rule the world” Logo and “one of the best rock debuts in years” Maxim. These much anticipated live dates should confirm the band as one of the best new bands to emerge this year.
