Turin Brakes, who's latest album, the sublime Ether Song, has now sold over 120,000 copies in the UK since it's March release, will be out and about all over Britain this summer overseeing glorious sunsets and possible torrential downpours at the many great British festivals.
They are confirmed to play not only Glastonbury on the afternoon of Saturday 28th June, but also T in The Park, and the V Festival, where last summer they launched the songs that made up Ether Song to rapturous reception.
The band will appear at the following times:
Glastonbury – 28th June – 5.30 on the Main stage
T in The Park – 13th July – 7.30 on the NME stage
V2003 – 16th and 17th August – 8.30pm on the 2nd stage
Turin Brakes have made a special microsite to give people a taste of things to come at the festivals – containing all tracks from Ether Song and much more, it can be accessed at: link
The band will also embark on their first headline tour of the US in June.
