With European tours behind the band and a massive fanbase gathering round the Continent, The Flamingo 50 recently inked a record deal in France with Prehisto Records, and the first fruits of that collaboration surface later this year on a full length album to be released exclusively in Europe.
New EP, “First In Line”, a five-track firebrand feast of power, remarkable riffage and a seriously smiling pop sensibility, is released on September 22nd, 2003, courtesy of the Sub Pop of The Wirral, Keith Records, who are to release the band's new LP later this year in a quite remarkable and resplendent manner. With a UK tour to coincide, The Flamingo 50 should boil and blister audiences into sublime submission. Can you really resist?
