Mercury Music Prize nominees Athlete re-release the summer classic and former Jo Whiley Record of the Week 'You Got The Style' on September 22nd. The track was first released last summer and has proved to be an anthem at the bands hugely successful festival appearances this year.

Athlete's debut album 'Vehicles and Animals' has been nominated for the prestigious Mercury Music Prize and the album has now been certified gold. The album has truly marked the band as one of the country's most inventive and accessible guitar groups.

Athlete have also just been announced to be the first band to play the new Carling Academy Islington on Sunday 28th September. Athlete will end what can only be described as a triumphant year by also playing a nationwide tour culminating in two headline dates at London's Shepherd's Bush Empire.
