Their first new piece of music in six years, and just in time to celebrate their return to Glastonbury, this single marks for me, the real beginning of the Orbital comeback. Not that they were gone for that long, but ‘Don’t Stop Me’ is definitely a return to their quality ‘Dr Who?’ era sound, delivered here with a sense of retrospectiveness of their sound you can only get from taking a short break from your own music. It sounds modern, on-trend, and lets not forget that Orbital had Delphic support them on their last tour. They’re still very much a band with something to offer young dance fans, and this track proves it, though dare we argue even more so with b-side ‘The Gun Is Good’, which has a dynamitic feel.
