Underworld have had a fantastic career haven’t they? Even if you’re not the biggest Underworld fan, it’s hard not to know who they are. I mean ‘Born Slippy’ has been filling dancefloors for years now, fifteen to be precise. Even more so, any more dedicated fans can point you into the direction of other great Underworld songs. ‘Scribble,’ a collaboration with High Contrast could just be one of them.
The fast pulsating, multi layered synths are brilliant. They’re bright and have hint of optimism to them expressing the true essence of ‘Scribble’. The looped drums add an intensity to the track. Vocalist Karl Hyde sings ‘and it’s okay to give me everything I need.’ This track is more than okay and it definately delivers alot of what you’d want from an Underworld track.
