RBK take to the stage dressed for the event, fulfilling their promise that they are very much into their fashion, corsets and dolled up hair as much as they are the music.
Minus their guitar player, their Bassist fills in on this part for the evening which considering the time he had to get the music down has a good enough go at hiding the fact that he’s doing someone else’s job.
The front women themselves look a little pre-occupied when first o stage but don’t let the close up crowd deter them from getting on with the show which they manage to do very well with arms gestures being a big thing for these two you’d almost expect them to take up Gothic Spokes-Modelling. But considering both also work in similar worlds to this outside of their band work it isn’t a surprise that they are all up for mastering poses and expressions.
Those already familiar with the album will be aware of the extent of their tastes and the live performance of the tracks prove worthy. Their split single release of “Ballerina” and “The Butterfly” are both highlights of the show. The vocal work certainly is much more interesting when there is a face to go with the words and has the added charm of a live sound that can’t be captured digitally. Not yet anyway.
