Papa Roach – I Almost Told You That I Loved You
The Californian Rockers Papa Roach, Although being around in the music industry for over 10 years have definitely still got the hard rock edge to entertain their rather large fan base. ‘I Almost Told You That I Loved You’ is the latest single from their 6th full length album ‘Metamorphosis’.
This being the 3rd single off the album you may think it’s going to be similar to the previous new songs, but this is not the case, it starts with a heavy yet simple drum beat and a guitar riff that will soar through your body. The lyrics are extremely raunchy yet easy to remember and Jacoby’s voice rips though you better than ever. I think this single is the one that go down well with the bands original fan base and bring in some new Adolescence to their following. Even though the song contains a lot of sexual reference, I think the fans for these guys is a little older and after all Papa Roach are a heavy rock band who are obviously not afraid of expressing themselves in whatever way they want.
They have kept it going for over 10 years already and I’m sure they have at least another 10 years of amazing music still to come.
