The Xcerts – Nightschool

Sounding a bit like the lovechild of folk rockers Idlewild and Scottish heroes Biffy Clyro, The Xcerts are no strangers to the UK music scene. Having already released two EP’s and numerous singles, they’re firing out their latest offering, Nightschool, from debut album In The Cold Wind We Smile. It’s an instantly catchy track jam-packed with energetic melodies, punchy lyrics and a pounding, anthemic chorus that’s bound to be a fan favourite at their gigs. The lads have already supported Idlewild on their recent tour and played some of Scotland’s biggest music festivals; add to that an upcoming support slot for Funeral for a Friend and it just goes to show these boys have a potentially massive career ahead of them!
