Blazing Clash – Princess Of Rock
Sometimes you hear a band play and you can nit-pick who the influences were on the band. Some are stronger than others, and whilst “Blazing Clash” probably have quite a few in the mix here. The opening of their first song stinks of Metallica. It’s a short musical intro that gives way to a more riff heavy “Iron Maiden” sounding second track “Back from the War.”
The music is impressive enough, but there is a slightly hollow sound to it all which probably could have been filled if they had pumped up the bass a little bit. Guitar solos and intros are a joy unto themselves, but they wouldn’t be anything without the proper sound backing.
