GHZ – There’s Trouble Coming
Cream, Zeppelin, Hendrix may be listed under influences and not without it’s fair share of the blues, but as much as the guys involved in this band have talent and have been playing with each other for many a year – it ultimately sounds like an old guys band playing the classics.
Like when you head out to watch a covers band, or a retro band that do justice to the music they play, but not to the point where you’d head to the stage to pick up the CD. They’ll fill a mature adults club on a Saturday night and provide enough rolling and swings to keep the aunties happy, but younger generations would need something a lot less refined and more dangerous sounding.
The other point to make is that the choice of instruments will either kill or bring joy to the music as they are all just as dated at the music they play. Purists only!
