Hitchcock – Smack Boom
Alternative electro pop doesn’t get any more alternative than this. Electro poppers and new romantics around the world will find this one of the most easy to access bands in a while.
“Smack Boom” is quite the tune. It has its catches and hooks, and more importantly it also has a lot of artistic integrity to it. The sound mixing and sample cutting is fairly superior. It cuts the fine line between talent and pop trash managing to make the song both memorable in an easy pop way, but also have its integrity intact come the close.
The three remixes that follow are your average fair of mixes. Take your pick.
