twisted Wheel – We Are US
After support slots with the likes of Oasis, Paul Weller and The Enemy, many are touting the band as the next in line to carry the torch as the “next big thing”. While a lot of the ingredients are here, a ‘them against us’ lyrical theme, raucous guitars and a lead singer with a snarl reminiscent of a young Mr. Gallagher. While you can imagine the song translating well in the booze fuelled live circuit, the song lacks the necessary punch needed to compete with the big boys.
t’s still early days for the band, but these days you aren’t given time to develop when you’re signed to a major label. These lads need to up their game, otherwise they’ll be making the, all to familiar, jump from ‘next big thing’ to ‘bargain bin’
