Aspen Grove - Barfly
Live Review

Aspen Grove – Barfly

Every now and again an old cynic has his snowstorm shaken up. Tonight watching Aspen Grove I was lifted from my moody slumber, and at Christmas of all times. Ain’t that just the movie they never made?

Beneath the exterior gloss of a youthful exhuberence applied wholeherateldy to the pursuit of musical greatness, that in turn reeks of the typical inexperience and wild reckles abandon, there is something invigorating about listening to Aspen Grove live.

If you, like me and millions of others believe music is the only true religion, the God of indie rock and roll (not Paul Weller) had a fiery glint in his eye the night this band was conceived.

The road is long, pull over Aspen Grove are coming through.
