The Bookhouse Boys – I Can’t Help Myself

‘I Can’t Help Myself’is a cross between Sparks and operatic rock at it’s most dark and haunting.

Its snakes into your brain and leaves you feeling cold with it’s broody lyrics. A tale of hedonism followed by a post comedown that the singer is trying to remember where he left himself whilst sitting in the hot hot sun. I felt the song had a real seedy underbelly to it.
It’s a straight ahead rock number with fringes of theatre about it.
