The Delays have gone up in the world. They moved to Polydor and are now in the big league. Unfortunately this means they are also under a lot of pressure to produce money-making pop classics on demand, and it seems that they are trying to cash in on the whole The Feeling, Scouting For Girls vibe. This single is uninspired and dreary, it makes you feel sad inside that they actually think it’s any good.

A twinkly, pop opener with weak weak lyrics, “Baby, let’s keep it simple. Baby, what’s on your mind?” Well what’s on her mind is, why are you speaking to me in such a horribly clichéd way? Put away the cheese it’s starting to smell, awful.
