The Pigeon Detectives – Everbody wants me

Seeing as The Pigeon Detectives have established themselves in the past 18 months you’d think they’d step out of the security of their first album ‘Wait For Me’, and experiment a tad, however this is obviously not the case.

This second single from their new album ‘Emergency’, is dreary and lacks any imagination. The chorus of ‘Everybody wants Me’ rings in your head and the monotony of it all is far too much bear. A slow-paced song with appalling lyrics, it’s suprising that they made this song and thought it was good idea to release it as a single. Maybe if they spent more time writing songs of good quality as opposed to rushing out an album one year after their debut, it would be worth a listen, at the moment, however, it fades into the background.
