Chuck Prophet – Would You Love Me

Carrying on his remarkable and successful career, Chuck Prophet continues to make sweet soul music in the form of ‘Would you love me’. It is such a simple song with a simple melody yet it releases such a calming and safe warmth. This song obviously comes from a man of a great mind, with the lyrics “…and the women threw their panties, and the women threw their bras, Elvis hung his head and said ‘they’ll forget me when I’m gone”.

Everybody has at least one song that ‘changed their life’ or what they play each time they break up with somebody or just what they feel they can relate to more than anybody or anything on this Earth. Chuck has the power to make this song one of them. The melodica at the end brings it to a fabulous climax, making you want to listen to it over and over.

Make sure you view the video to this song. The whole clip is a short but great insight to the type of man Chuck really is, providing the audience with pre-song footage of him discussing his outstanding song.
